Emotional Pain – Feeling Anger

If you are feeling into your body when you are feeling your emotions, this is a good thing :-) Emotions have a tendency to present themselves as a feeling in your body – a sensation in your body – which is closely followed by a thought (or several thoughts).

Focus on intensely feeling the sensations in your body – and it will prevent your mind from judging the emotion – and what story is responsible for the emotion being there. Your mind has a tendency to get stuck in the past and the future – and focuses on pain and problems.

You can only think or feel in one moment. The good thing is that you get to choose whether you are thinking or feeling.

All feeling (without thinking) will lead you to peace. As long as you allow all the sensations (which go with that emotion) to be felt.

You need to let all that pain and anger out of your body. Whenever you repress an emotion, it just keeps bubbling over; and will eventually make its way out. This is why we react – or over-react to some situations. When we finally release our pain and anger it is really intense.

Feel the sensations of the emotional pain and anger you carry in your body. Just feel it. Disengage your mind and be completely present within your body. Allow all the sensations in your body to be felt. What you will find is that within a few minutes, all that anger will melt away…

Choose to feel into your body… feel all reactions as sensations in your body; and it will lead you to peace. Focus all of your attention on feeling into your body. Doing this consistently will help create emotional freedom.
